Blessing of the Backpacks

On Sunday, August 14 Father Matt McCormick blessed the backpacks and children who were returning to school this week. A collection of school supplies were donated by parish members for children in need.  These items were also blessed by Father McCormick. The donated items will be distributed to North Charleston Elementary and Hursey Montessori both schools located in the Park Circle area.

On Tuesday, August 23, Frances Bennage delivered the donated school supplies to Hursey and North Charleston Elementary Schools. These supplies were blessed by Father McCormick during the Blessings of the Backpacks.
