Parent Information For Vacation Bible School(VBS) at St. Thomas Episcopal Church
Roar!!!! Life Is Wild & God Is Good will be held June 17-21, 2019 at St. Thomas Episcopal Church.
We've listed some F.A.Q.'s for parents or guardians
Where and when do I bring my child each morning?
Morning drop-off begins at 8:45am. St. Thomas Episcopal Church is located at 1150 East Montague Ave. in North Charleston at Park Circle. You can park in our parking lot or in front of the church at the drop-off zone. We ask that each child participant is signed in and out each day.
Where and when do I pick-up my child?
Pick-up is at 12:00pm. Please come to the registration table and sign child participant out of Vacation Bible School each day. Furthermore, additional information will be available for the next day's activities.
Can I have someone else pick-up my child
Yes, we all understand how busy summer gets and the fun of having children in different activities. We ask that you notify the registration table that morning and your child's Crew Leader ahead of time as to who will pick up your child. Please, do not send a note with the person as we will be calling you to verify the information is accurate and will not allow your child to leave until we contact a parent or guardian listed on the registration.
Is a snack provided at Vacation Bible School?
Yes, the children will be provided a snack each day during VBS. If your child has any food allergies, please note on the registration form. We will do our best to accommodate each child, but a snack provided by parents with special needs would be appreciated.
What should my child bring to Vacation Bible School?
Most days everything is provided for your child. All children will be involved in some outdoor activities during VBS. Comfortable shoes and clothing is suggested. You may want to make sure your child has applied sunscreen prior to arriving for the day.
My child may be sick, can they still come to Vacation Bible School?
We want to ensure that all children stay healthy during the week. We ask that your child be free from the following symptoms for the past 24 hours prior to returning to Maker Fun Factory: Fever of 100F, diarrhea, vomiting, cold/flu, throat/ear infection, red/watery eyes, body rash, runny nose, any contagious disease.
How do we reach the church for an emergency during Vacation Bible School?
Please call the church office directly at 747-0479 or Frances Bennage at 452-1705 or Fr. Jim Taylor at 425-0371.
We look forward to seeing all of you soon!!!
