The membership of St. Thomas is spreading the Good News about the kingdom of God through the following local ministries. Click on the ministry in Blue to learn more.

My Sister's House - 
My Sister’s House, Inc., is a nonprofit organization founded in 1980 that provides services, programs and resources to empower domestic violence victims and their children to live free from abuse.  St. Thomas is proud to be a donation drop-off facility for My Sister's House. We have a donation box located across from the office. They are always in need of clothes, babies items, small appliances. Many of these women & children have had to leave their homes and start a new one.

Newborns in Need - 
It's time for Newborns In Need's Annual event of collecting new and "gently loved" warm sleepers and sleep sacks (size NB to 18 months) for needy babies in the Lowcountry. Will be collecting from September 1st - October 31st.

Holy City Missions -
Holy City Missions is in need of the following items. Men’s and women’s socks, brown paper lunch-size bags, individual packaged snacks: raisins, chips, cookies, dried fruit, pretzels juice boxes and bottles of water.  There is a black box in the Narthex that you may put your donations in. Thank you in advance.

Lowcountry Orphan Relief 
 -The mission of Lowcountry Orphan Relief and Midlands Orphan Relief is to provide support services and aid to meet the needs of South Carolina children identified as at-risk or suffering from abandonment, abuse and/or neglect.

​​Lowcountry Orphan Relief: Donated Items blessed at the service on December 18, 2022: The congregation donated the stuffed animals to be given to the children in need by the Orphan Relief. The animals were collected for the month of November and blessed during the Sunday service on December 18. 

Newborns in Need -

​Newborns in Need, Inc. (NIN) is a 501(c)(3) charity organized to help take care of needy babies. NIN volunteers provide care necessities to agencies and hospitals serving premature, ill, or impoverished newborns. Newborns In Need distributes items free of charge to babies in the United States

As a church family, the members of St. Thomas enjoy coming together for worship, fun, and learning.  Numerous opportunities are available to live the Christian hope "of living with confidence in newness and fullness of life, and to await the coming of Christ in glory."

Below is a small sample of our yearly parish offerings. Contact the church office for further information.
  • Chili Luncheon and Pumpkin Auction - In late October, we gather to eat chili and auction pumpkins the children and individuals have decorated.  Money raised from this event is applied to purchase Christian Education and Vacation Bible School supplies.  
  • Young At Heart - On the 3rd Thursday of each month, some of our more advanced in age members and friends gather at St. Thomas for entertainment, fellowship and delicious food.  
  • Lobster Sale - At the end of May, St. Thomas has a delicious Lobster Sale.  This fundraiser is used for outreach and special needs around the parish. 
  • Bible Day Camp - Our Bible Day Camp or Vacation Bible School is offered each June.  The hours of the camp are from 9am-12pm on the church campus.  Bible Day Camp is open to all children in the lowcountry community.
  • Advent Dinner - Each December we gather as a community of faith for food and fellowship at the beginning of the Advent season.  Please join us for this great time together.
  • Lenten Program - On Thursdays during the season of Lent, St. Thomas gathers for a potluck supper, worship and program.  View pictures on our Facebook page. Learn more about the religious season of Lent here.
  • Guardian Angel Program - During Lent adults pray for their predetermined youth.
  • Back To School Supplies - Each July and August, school supplies are gathered to help families in need.
  • Dinner Clubs - Twice a year Dinner Clubs are organized for members to fellowship with each other in a casual setting.​
