The Rev. Dr. Matthew McCormick

​Matt grew up spending time around the banks of the great St. Johns River of Ortega and the the beautiful Jacksonville Beaches of North Florida. Raised as a cradle Episcopalian, he came to know Jesus Christ, and is always rediscovering the eternal depths of God’s grace and mercy. He loves nothing more than sharing the joyful saving news of Jesus Christ and encouraging others in their walk with the Lord. He is a graduate of Trinity School for Ministry (MDiv), Luther Seminary, St. Paul (ThM), and the Sioux Falls Seminary (DMin). He was ordained an Episcopal priest in 2008 and has served congregations throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and the Lowcountry. He and his family are proud and honored to call St. Thomas their home.
